hey, thats a really nice picture, actually most of yours are great. I really like futuristic/dystopian cities and am actually putting together a novel about a post apocyliptic city beneath a bomb proof dome and was wondering whether you would be interested in creating an image for the cover, ill probably send it to publishers and upload it to amazon sometime early next year and would love it to have a good cover. its based on rome/sparta with some soviet/north korean influence.

I've arranged a very basic prototype here
dont worry about the text as i havent fully decided on the title yet.

a few points if your interested.
-it would be best if the buildings were more traditional skyscrapers with a futuristic twist and some monorails at the center but be creative if you like.
-the road would be filled with a mix of futuristic and old cars and some futeristic trains that have fallen into disrepair.
-the buidings at the front would be dull and depressing but not as destroyed as the ones pictured.

If you would be interested in being involved please let me know and i could send an excerpt of the book that describes the city

thanks, jon.

It reminds me of portions of East Broadway in downtown Manhattan. Eerie and very effective--close enough to reality and yet far enough from it to be disturbing. Very well imagined and executed.

Wow. This is an amazing bit of perspective and design - I'm almost getting vertigo looking at those buildings!

One question - what's the design on the far left?

Almost reminds me of Milan's Central Station square. I wonder what disaster may have happened that leveled whole buildings and put all those slums there.

I like the architectural design and genera aesthetic.

Some images and games show off the 'future of the past', showing off futuristic representations of art deco or postmodern architectural styles. This makes me think of something similar using modern and neoclassical stylings. I'm love with it.

I love this one. Great palette, great composition and sence of scale. I do think by sharpening the cars in the middle they become to much of a focal point, but this could be intentional. Very inspirational, thanks!

Its strange that you ask that. The art director wanted it to have Hispanic touches in the architecture and palette. I wasn't aware that it was quite so apparent. Why did you ask?

Because I am Mexican and that's our aztec calendar thrown in there :D, it also resembles Mexico City's downtown.
