Whoa, this is awesome. I like that there aren't a lot of sharp lines...it makes it feel dream like, and that works well. Very creepy. The story always resonated with me, because I always see those old decrepit places and want to go explore them.

Very cool, "Haunter" is one of my favorite stories. The Church is described as being in the midst of the city, on top of the hill, amidst a tangle of streets and alleys. Your piece depicts it in a countryside. You can actually see photos of THEE Church on Federal Hill online which was Lovecraft's inspiration. Your interior piece is really amazing. Overall, good Job!
This is fantastic, I love the movement of the figure, sky and birds in contrast with the solid, stark and still church/abbey. I'm sure someone could read all kinds of things into this but most of all it is the feeling that something right and he shouldn't go inside that comes across. Very dramatic and beautifully painted
