Great vibe here.
The closest birds are a bit too much, though: they bring movement ok, but really invade the whole picture.

Whoa, this is awesome. I like that there aren't a lot of sharp lines...it makes it feel dream like, and that works well. Very creepy. The story always resonated with me, because I always see those old decrepit places and want to go explore them.

Not so sure I want to after reading this story...lol.
