Great job! As a huge Tolkien fan myself I have to say that this is pretty much exactly how i imagined them to feel as i read the songs about them.Again, great job! Can't wait to see more Tolkien inspired works!
Wow! Absolutely stunning!! Really love the atmosphere, really gives me the shivers, as a depiction of Angband should give me! I really admire how you managed to depict Beren and Lúthien as such that, although painted quite tiny, they still catch your attention in the midst of the action!
(Btw, the Silmarillion takes place at least two-thousand years before the Lord of the Rings; Pardon me if I'm incorrect but I believe in Rivendell/Imladris Elrond explains to Frodo that he was present at the Battle of the Last Alliance in wich Sauron was defeated by the armies of Elendil and Gil-Galad. And the Silmarillion took place before Gil-Galad or Elrond had ever set foot in Middle-Earth, so... But don't care, the painting is still amazing, so +fav and a hell 'of a lot of respect! Keep up the good work! )
Awesome stuff, I reallly enjoy the dense atmosphere and the colours here. This has such a cool mysterious feeling...the fog from the heat and the blooming daylight...And hey, staircases above lava are always an eye-catcher Really nice work, defintiely a very strong piece!
